Training Courses
Cleaning Science Courses
Courses are only conducted on weekdays, excluding Public Holiday.
Courses would take place at our dedicated Upekkha Training Centre, located at 21, Jalan Sukun 1, Taman Sukun, 14100 Simpang Ampat, Penang, starting at 8am on the day of your choosing.
Please note that each participant would be charged per course of your choice with a minimum amount of 10 participants per course. Course fee includes lunch, lecture notes, training equipment and all other related materials, excluding transportation or accommodation.
Each course will take approximately 10 hours to complete, which will also depend on the students ability to comprehend and the number of participants taking turns on practical training and exam.
Training Courses For Cleaning Offered
Hard Floor Maintenance Systems
Hard floor maintenance is essential to keep floors looking at their best. We will cover all methods including sweeping, scrubbing, damp mopping, spot cleaning, bonnet mopping, spray cleaning & buffing! You'll learn about stain removals too!
Stone Care Maintenance & Renovation
Learn how to maintain and restore your previously damaged shiny floor tiles! Chapters include cleaning, crystallization, reparation of scratched floors, marble floor renovation plus diamond disk grades and It’s different uses!
Hard Floor Preparation
The base of this chapter will teach you how to prepare your floor for sealing application with the right equipment and products. Learn how to remove old finishes with wet or dry stripping, followed by polishing.
Carpet Care
The right maintenance program can make a huge difference in the life of your carpet. It's important that you learn how to care for them properly - not only will it keep dirt at bay, but also protect its fibers from wear-and tear with regular cleaning sessions!
Cleaning Equipment Selection
Learn how different types of machines work, what they're best at cleaning. It covers everything from selecting an effective machine type based on your needs, through fault finding techniques!
Scrubber Dryers & Sweepers
Get hands-on experience with different machines to help make the right selection for your operation and learn how they work! There's also an explanation of operating instructions, safety features/complaints & solutions when something goes wrong!
Rotary Floor Machines Types
Learn all about single disk machines on their usages and how they operate. You will also be taught on how to troubleshoot when your machine malfunctions. Be fluent in operating instructions, safety precautions and simple fault finding for troubleshooting.
Vacuum Cleaner Usage & Troubleshooting
Explore the ins and outs of a vacuum and fix any malfunctioned vacuum cleaners. You'll also learn about filtration systems - what they do exactly as well how often maintenance needs should be performed on them!
Toilet Cleaning
An in depth course created just on toilet cleaning. You'll be trained to maximize your cleaning efficiency with techniques such as mopping, scrubbing, wiping, stain removal and glass cleaning. We teach it like the pros do!
